Embankment and subgrade material "HC Composite Embankment Material"
For the improvement of environment, safety, economy, quality, and recyclability!
"HC Composite Fill Material" is a fill material that is produced by mixing crushed stone fine powder (dehydrated cake), which is generated as a by-product during the manufacturing of wet crushed sand, with quicklime and crushed gravel (0-40 mm). It can be used as a subgrade material for constructing paved roads, employing methods such as embankment and replacement methods. Compared to conventional fill materials, it excels in environmental friendliness, safety, economic viability, quality, and recyclability. In the future, with the increasing demand for high-quality crushed stone and crushed sand due to factors such as particle size and shape, an increase in the generation of crushed stone fine powder (dehydrated cake), which could potentially become waste, is anticipated. This material represents a new recycling concept unique to Otsubo, effectively utilizing this by-product. It is registered with NETIS (Registration Number: QS-040018). [Features] ○ H (Hydraulic) → Water-hardening: The property of lime and cement hardening through water. ○ C (Coordination) → Adjustment: The process of fine-tuning to eliminate excess or deficiency and achieve balance. ○ Composite → The combination of two or more elements into one. ○ Fill Material → The ground material that is leveled by excavating the earth when paving the road surface with stone, concrete, asphalt, etc. For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
